What nobody realizes is they did coexist and they went to the finals lmfao and that was before they became legendary. I can’t even believe these people make money to tell us things can’t happen that actually already have. Smh get educated

They would have been the highest scoring team ever if they would have learned to play with each other mess around they would have had a ring by now for a fact its not like they was bad to begin with they had to find they way but if they would have learned to play with each other russell would still get a triple double james still 40 plus points and kevin durant would still be the top player in his position picc up 2 official big mans and they would have been golden state honeslty maybe just my opinion dont beat me up lml

Neither guy would have elevated their games without being "the guy" on their respective teams. No rivalries between them anyways. They've known each other since they were kids.

Their was more to the story with harden getting traded. he declined the 6mil presti offered him plus he kinda wanted out because he didn’t wanted to be the 6th man. It’s kinda not prestis fault.

I blame it on scott brooks. He was trying to make russ a pg and harden as 6th man pg when russ sits. Russ was a sg in college and harden is too good to be a 6th man. I heard harden said he told brooks to play him as 6th man but I don't think harden can truly accept being 6th man like ginobli. They should have let harden play pg and russ shooting guard. Hell, they are so talented, they can switch roles like the rockets right now. And all 3 definately can work out. if russ is playing pg, KD and harden can spread the floor and are deadly shooters from 3. if you close out on them and they drive, they will either finish around the rim or find someone else. And russ is capable of moving without the ball (but he doesn't do it as much as he should) and can be like dwade with lebron on the heat. And it was stupid that scott brooks didn't play adams early on and played perkins. I also hate the narrative of who gets the last shot. KD is now deferring to steph for last shots when he knows that steph is hot.

Back then Westbrook and Harden work pretty well even though they weren't good as they are today. If somehow they ended up on the same team now it will be kind of hard because they didn't have years to build chemistry up to this point. Had James Harden stayed with the Thunder up until now, he probably would have improved a great deal but I don't know if he would have improved to how he is now with the Rockets

THE Thunder could of been the The New England Patriots of Basketball if they would of learned to play as a unselfish team when they had Harden , Westbrook, Durant, Ibaka,Green. THEY had a Amazing Future Soon to be Hall Of Famer in Maurice Cheeks as the assistant they should of listen too.

Harden and Westbrook would’ve worked fine.

Because you can always stagger their minutes. Imagine having to deal with Harden or Westbrook with your second squad? No team could handle that.

Why do you think that all of a sudden triple doubles have skyrocketed. His post defense isn't really that good. Most of the people he guards don't even go into the post against him. Also, why is he the laughingstock of the word defense around the world then?

That's obvious in looking at how Paul George has been utilized averaging 28 points per game as OKC's primary scoring option.

Nobody to guard duncan, no shot blocker to protect the rim when tony parker slashed to the basket. Look back at the 2014 wcf when ibaka was hurt, tony got the switch on perkins and it was an easy basket. Its easy to say harden now because of gsw but in 2012 to 2015 when spurs where the title lock team you needed a dynamic big man like ibaka and that pick and roll mid range shot that russ to ibaka did was always money.
